KIng & Queen of the Lake @ Lakeside Paradise

2 World Champions, 4 Belgian Champions, a King and a Queen...reasons enough to make it a splashy Sunday at Lakeside Paradise.

The King and Queen, the local club championships, effectively ends the wakeboarding competition season. It is a social gathering of all team riders, with this year's competition in the morning and a totally new fun section in the afternoon. Afterwards, there was the traditional coronation , but also the honouring of both World Champions and the 4 Belgian Champions, in the presence of Alderman of Sport Tine Gobert and Alderman Wenmackers.

The cableway is now being rearranged by local specialists to make it into something completely different, with a view to the Cold Water Classic 2025, first weekend of the Easter holidays. That way, everyone can train on this new set-up all through the winter.
