Lakeside Paradise closes summer holidays with 2 highlights !

With a full line-up and a lot of "leute", the annual UFO session took place Sunday night at Lakeside Paradise.

Anyone could enter the track for free, provided the wakeboarders were either dressed up or used an Unidentified floating Object to do laps.
And no sooner said than done: everyone had really put a lot of effort into looking as original as possible which resulted in lots of colours on the Duinenwater lake, much to the delight of the masses of spectators and supporters present.

Dimi Lefaible and Dorien Festjens from Wenduine had expertly attached 2 wakeboards to each other with which they were able to successfully spin around, and Brent Lissens from Knokke-Heist managed to do the same as Pikachu from the Pokemon saga with Ball and all. They each received a €100 voucher.
Appointment was already made for 2025, last Sunday night of August.

Equally good news is that Lakeside Team member Glenn Vandenberge from Knokke-Heist became European Masters wakeboarding champion in Turin (IT) on Saturday.

A well-deserved reward after another season of hard training with the Lakeside Pro team. Vic Drooghmans, Emiel Lauwers and Nanou Lenaerts also achieved great results this year. Congratulations to all Team Belgium participants!

On to the World Championships in Paris which continue in September.
